Larry specialises in one-to-one fitness training for mature
exercisers who wish to maximise their strength and aerobic fitness whilst
improving their joint mobility, core strength and maintaining flexibility.
He particularly enjoys working with sports enthusiasts and
clients who are under the direction of their physiotherapist.
He works out of Beeston Gym and is available to novice
exercisers for accompanied
runs, Fartlek routines and boot camp type exercise around the scenic area of the River Trent and Attenborough Nature Reserve.
By contrast he runs Chinese Combat Fitness

Training Profile
Larry has been teaching physical activity for over 30
years. He began by teaching swimming, and also qualified to teach diving
and life saving. By the late 1980's he had become qualified to teach
weight training through the BAWLA certification programme and others. He
has a certificate in Health Education and part of his degree profile was to
study Health and Disease. Larry has been undertaking personal fitness
training since 1990 at what was the Joint Effort Fitness Studio, as well as
teaching gym instructors at local FE colleges and through the Institute of Sport
& Recreation Management courses.
